This is a common procedure in Scandinavia and it enables the hotels to offer the best possible service. Please note that check-in at most hotels takes place after 15.00 hrs.
Please also bear in mind that it is very common in Scandinavia to pay small expenses with credit card (e.g. a cup of coffee).
